Default Outs question

I hold Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

What are the odds of hitting the nut flush OR a broadway straight by the river?

Default Re: Outs question

There are 47*46/2 = 1081 turn/river combinations. There are 10*9/2 = 45 ways to get a runner-runner flush, one of which is a royal. There are 4*4 = 16 ways to get JT for a backdoor straight but J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] has already been counted leaving 15.

Probability = (45+15)/1081 = 5.55%
