this forum is officially ruined
this forum is meant to be news views and gossip about gambling. if you haven't noticed, it is under the 'general gambling' heading. almost everything posted here lately belongs in the other other topics forum. I guess I'll just have to get my news and gossip from rgp.

On the front page, I count 7 threads that are clearly not gambling-related. I think that's getting better. This forum (NVG) is not so busy that a few extra threads is a problem, especially since I check once a day. 9 of the threads clearly belong here. The last four could be in other forums, but fall into a gray area of appropriateness, and I am not offended by their presence here.
Again, I want to say having a sticky forum FAQ/guidelines in each one of these groups would be great. It would help answer problems like this, remove common questions, and provide links to all the most awesome threads of the past. Clearly off-topic album covers - OOT Shot a man - OOT $25k car - OOT $4000 car - OOT $400 car - humor, should follow the other two Women - OOT Wood? - Politics Clearly on-topic this thread - cuz it relates to this forum How do you guys... - views Aderol - views Why I play - views LAP magazine - news backing - views Phil Hellmuth - gossip Privacy notice - news hartford courant article - news Could be elsewhere, could be here Vegas chips - maybe B&M, but here is fine definitions - maybe Beginner's Carpal Tunnel - 'misc poker', here is better than General Texas Hold'em floor ruling - 'misc poker', here is better than General

If you think this forum is bad, you should take a look at the WPT forum
yeah, this one's not bad, but the WPT forum is awful. and that is partially the fault of DS himself, trying to post crap that has absolutely nothing to do with the WPT in that area so that the "big dogs" or however he phrased it would respond to them. fsuplayer
