Default What\'s a good $25k\'ish car?

I want to get a new car in the 25k range? anyone have any suggestions?

No truck, no suv. I need a sedan. I was thinking Altima, Camry, Pasat for new.

Maybe a 1-3 year old Acura, BMW, Benz...

thanks.

how bling do you want it? accords are always solid, but very low on the bling factor. I'm partial to the accura TL, and you can get a used one for around your price range.
One thing I've found is that a few friends have cars leased for them by their companies, and they telecommute a significant portion of the time. when their lease runs out, the company just leases them a new one. If you know anyone like this, you may be able to purchase the car. you'll know the history because the leasee was a friend, and, because of the telecommute thing, it should have pretty low miles.

I bought a very low-mileage lease-returned 3 year old Acura 3.5RL in the low 20's. I love it, and people give it compliments all the time.

Check out edmunds.com

I am biased towards Acura. My wife and I have an Integra and RSX. Great cars, no problems, and you can get an RSX for under 25K.

Do they make an RSX in a 4 door sedan?

I have a Passat and I am very happy with it. You should at least test drive one.

i have an Acura ('91 Legend), and its awesome. Its no suprise if they top 200k miles. They are made great and have cool options too.

My dad just got a 2002 TL, similar to the picture, and he loves it. He used to be a BMW guy, but he slowly starting to lean towards acuras more now.

acura-4
everything else-0
