Default Calculating Equity Vs. Range of Hands?

Just interested in how one would go about calculating the equity of his/her hand against villain's possible range of hands? Thanks in advance.

PokerStove is a great tool for that.

At the table, I use experience/intuition, and memories of PokerStove and TwoDimes results.

Same as calculating your equity against any one hand, weighted by the proportion that villian holds that hand.

P(xy) = Prob. Opponent Holding X Y
Equity X Y = Chance of Beating that Hand

For all XY
Total_Equity += P(xy) * Equity(xy)

See A. Davidson "Opponent Modeling In Poker: Learning and Acting in a Hostile and Uncertain Environment" This is a very very good paper.
