TT Overpair facing TAG turn checkraise
Not sure whether I should post this as I think villain may be a 2+2er. Anyway,
SB has 26/13/2.25 stats after 100 hands. I haven't seen him get out of line postflop yet. Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: (8 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP calls, SB calls. Turn: (7 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP calls, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, Hero ??? |

Re: TT Overpair facing TAG turn checkraise
I think you're probably crushed, but I have a hard time laying this one down too.
Very few people who play that selectively are checkraising the turn on a pure bluff. He could just have a very strong draw, like 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], but I think A6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or a flopped straight are more likely. |

Re: TT Overpair facing TAG turn checkraise
Is A6s a standard call from the SB?
I can't see what he would play like this except for 44 or 22. Having said that, I would still call down because I suck. |

Is A6s a standard call from the SB? [/ QUOTE ] I thought he was in the BB. Being in the SB makes those hands a lot less likely, you're right. |

Re: TT Overpair facing TAG turn checkraise
I think it is correct to fold here. If it has been HU then I like calling down, but with MP in there I doubt you have more than 2 outs. He would not check/raise you there on a bluff or a hand weaker than yours. He either has trips or a full house.
But when actually playing I know I would sometimes crycall it down. |

Re: TT Overpair facing TAG turn checkraise
I'm most likely losing two more bets here.
