[/ QUOTE ] What does competant (sic) at poker mean? If it means making money playing poker, than I believe that I am competent as I have played the last 54 days straight and had only 2 losing days. I would play alot more, if I didn't have to work a full time job. To dismiss the fact that some facets of online poker is rigged, is simply ignorance or denial. I have no proof either way, but the fanatacism of some of the people here that it is not rigged is similar to some people with their religious beliefs and refusal to believe other possibilities exist. Stars SNGs are VERY friendly to players who know anything about tournament play. The fact that you make rigged posts would indicate that you are not winning. This leads me to believe that you dont know when to get your money in. Check out the 1-Table Tournaments forum. That should help you increase your SNG skills and help you see the light.

I finished dead last in 3 of my first 4 SNG's because I had no idea what was happening and I was the fishiest of fish.
A couple months later I had started to improve a little bit at them. And then I had a string where I finished first in 6 out of 7 (and placed 3rd in the other one). These were the $5+.50's... and I'm certain that Stars has an absolutely HUGE incentive to rig the 5+.50's because there is just too much money to be made by setting it up so that the fishier players always win.

They have invested their lives in online poker. To admit there is any chance they are being cheated is to admit they may be a dupe, clearly unacceptable. The attitude is easy to understand. Think Holocaust denier and you will be in the ball park.
