How bizzare that the single most flag waving, patriotic, American flag wearing
lapel demographic in the entire nation (conservative Republicans) can't produce
one super patriot who actually served their country in Vietnam during a time of
war !!! It damn sure wasn't AWOL Bush who couldn't even serve in the National
Guard that his Daddy got him into so he didn't have to face combat in Vietnam.
It sure wasn't the likes of Dennis Hastert, Tom DeLay, Trent Lott, or super
patriot commentators like Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Neal
Boortz, etc. None of that group (except for AWOL Bush) even served a day in
this country's military. Really ironic isn't it especially considering that the
past two Democratic Presidential candidates Kerry and Gore served honorably in
Vietnam and Gore's Dad had more clout than Bush's (he was a U.S. Senator).
