Seems like a good guy. He'd work much better on that show if his co-hosts weren't braindead. If they could drop Kruk and add an analytical non-former player, BBT would be phenomenal.

Gammons only recently learned the term "OPS". I'm talking about someone with the ability to teach serious baseball fans a thing or two. A stat geek like Bill James or Rob Neyer or one of the guys from Baseball Prospectus would be nice. Then HR can constantly make fun of them for thinking they know everything about baseball having never played the game past little league.

I think Neyer would be great.

Even with Harold being a former Mariner, I have a hard time watching him the same way I have a hard time listening to Joe Morgan - a complete insistance to ignore/refute any new ideas or findings in baseball. Harold's not quite as bad, but he's just an old school player at heart. Don't even get me started on John Kruk.

I like Reynolds. He's not any good for StatGeek stuff, but he does a better job than most talking about what's going on during an at-bat.
