Probabilities Website?

Hey guys.

I'm looking for a recommendation on a good probabilities website.

Thing is, recently I was working on hand distributions, and I said something like:

A pair is 4*3/2 = 6 hands
Overs (AK) is 4*4/2 = 8 hands.

This isn't true.

Basically, because the overs are created of 4 unique aces, each with a set of 4 unique kings: there's no overlaps, and therefore we have 16 hands rather than 8 hands.

Also, the pairs isn't really 4*3/2, but rather, 4*3/2!, which is equivalent...

Where I would run into trouble using the /2 rather than /2! is if I were trying to figure out the chances for flopping a monotone flop, which would involve something like /3!, rather than a potential mistake: /3

(the difference between 3*2*1 (=6) and 3.)

Anyways, I'm kinda embarassed at my amateur mistake, and would like to check out a beginner's probability website, that would cover this material. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

I really have no idea what you're talking about because you mention "overs" and "pairs" without any context.

Monotone flop with no known cards:

4 * C(13,3)/C(52,3) = 5.18%

What I'm gleaning from your post is that you're having trouble differentiating between combinations and permutations. You should be able to find something in < 10 seconds on google.
