Default Best Vodka

Never was much into Vodka until about 6 months ago when at a bar I took a sip of a martini a friend was drinking and liked it and now it's my favorite drink.

The martini I tried was Grey Goose, straight up, slightly dirty which means it has a little olive juice in it. I've also tried Stoli's and like that too.

What are your favorite vodkas's?

I can't taste the difference. I was in this bar in leipzig once that had hundreds of different kinds of vodka, and we tried a lot and I couldn't tell the difference between any of them.

Grey Goose, Chopin, Belvedere - I can't tell the difference between them and any other of the "super-premium" vodkas. They are all very smooth. I like to think I could tell the difference between those and "premium" vodkas like Ketel One, Skyy, etc., but I'm really not sure. I usually drink my vodka either on the rocks or w/ a splash of soda. If you're mixing flavored stuff in with them (juice, tonic, olives, etc.), I'm sure few if any can tell the difference between any top-shelf vodkas. All of these vodkas are very crisp and clean tasting - what most people think of when they think of vodka.

I like both Grey Goose Orange and Stoli Orange - good w/ a splash of soda.

These, however, are by far the best flavored vodkas I've ever had: Hangar One.

For vodkas with a more unique taste, try Wyborowa (Polish) and Pearl (Canadian). Both of these vodkas have a kind of interesting almost creamy taste.

Ahh, Wyborowa (Vibrova). I love this stuff. It's surprisingly cheap too around here, I guess nobody's heard of it before in Atlanta. Plus it has one bad ass bottle.

If I feel like spending some money though, Zyr, Jewel of Russia Classic, Armadale, and Chopin are all vodkas that I would consider with Grey Goose. I don't like Belvedere, who knows why.

Wyborowa is my choice as well if I have to buy it in the UK, due to price.

When I went to Poland, well I was pretty drunk the whole time and can't actually remember the currency or conversion, but vodka was like 1/10th of the price it is here. Chopin is good.
