First Encounter Assault Recon (FEAR)
I have officially found a new reason to get a brand spanking new 3 gig video card with a zillion AA capability, 20 gigs of RAM and a 10 Terahertz processor along with a 20.1 Speaker system.
This demo is the best demo ever and the game makes Doom 3 look like a POS. This game is not for pussies though, it is fooking scary! Lawrence http://www.vugames.com/downloads.do |

Re: First Encounter Assault Recon (FEAR)
should be ok, just tone down some of the graphic features and keep the resolution lower.

Re: First Encounter Assault Recon (FEAR)
i hate doom 3. i was scared and bored at the same time playing that system hoggin POS. HL2 and farcry are so much better than doom 3. i'm too lazy to download the fear demo, but maybe i'll pick it up off your recommendation when it comes out. any other games i should know about?

Re: First Encounter Assault Recon (FEAR)
FEAR is freakin' amazing. I think I crapped my pants twice during the demo alone and it's about 10 minutes long, haha.

Great demo.
Clear rip off of ideas from Max Payne though. |

Re: First Encounter Assault Recon (FEAR)
The demo was so short I was annoyed. The hallway scene was [censored] up though. And the ladder part... Yeah.
And I thought I had a blisteringly fast computer, but it couldn't run this so well. I don't know what that was about, but I blame it on the demo part. |
