NaVan a fusion of cognac with black vanilla...
.from the house of Grand Marnier.
I needed to stock up on spirits for the upcoming holiday weekend so I visited a discount liquor store today during my lunch break. I typically drink bourbon whiskey. I picked up Knob Hill bourbon and Jim Beam Black Bourbon. I have not tried either and this holiday weekend seemed like the perfect occasion. Something called Navan caught my eye. I believe it is a cognac made from the same company that makes Grand Marnier. A few of the employees recommended it, so I gave it a go. I sampled it tonight with a CAO Brazilian cigar. I drank it on the rocks and found it extremely smooth. I found the vanilla taste very subtle and not overpowering. Anyone care to recommend any other types of cognacs? |
