If I was gay or had more gay friends then I'm sure it would bother me. I used to use it when I was like 13. It doesn't really annoy me just like someone using the word 'gypped' doesn't annoy me.

not really.
but it does bother me the way parents hide homosexuality from their kids like its some abstract concept that if exposed will turn them gay, or something.
