AQd worse than AKd versus KK?
According to twodimes, versus black KK:
AQd wins 31.92% of the time, and has an EV of .321 AKd wins 33.69% of the time and has an EV of .341! How is this possible? - Tony |

Re: AQd worse than AKd versus KK?
Could be because you win most of the time an ace comes up unless an ace and a king both come up, and holding AK lessens the occurrance of that.

Re: AQd worse than AKd versus KK?
two obvious reasons...
when you have AK, and an ace flops, it's less likely for KK to also make a set. Secondly, if you have AK, easier to make a straight (AQ needs a K for many of it's straights, and two of them are dead) Josh |

Re: AQd worse than AKd versus KK?
4% of the time you spike an Ace, KK will spike a set, I guess.
