ive already discussed this. Lushes are weak, easy-go-lucky people who consume a few more drinks than what would be optimal. Im a raging alcoholic.

I don't think this definition is permissive enough. I would say I 'used to be a lush' and drank 5 or 6 or 7 days a week, including at 3 PM on a Tuesday. Now I only drink on weekends and maybe one other night per week.

In the UK if you say someone is Lush then it means good looking and you fancy them.

Generally used by girls "O that Tommy is Lush" for example.

Also if somthing tastes nice you might say "that beer tasted lush".

Well know you know if backpacking round the UK and get called lush you know not to be offended.

Next time I am in a bar in Flagstaff having some Mexicans say I am a priviliged Englishman whos parents paid for everything I have and I am lush I will know to be offended and not think they all fancy me.
