Vegas S&Gs
Well I am fighting my fear of flying and next week I am making my first trip to Vegas in several years. Hopefully no bad beats from the pilot.
Are there any places that hold regular one table tourneys? gl |

Re: Vegas S&Gs
Chill,
Al Capone Junior moved to vegas a couple months ago and is playing poker regularly in the casinos. He would be a very good source to advise you on where the action is and what kind of games are available. Suggest you send him a pm. He is a long time 2+2er, a personal friend of mine, and one of the good guys. He would be glad to help, I am sure. (And a real wiseacre, so please don't admit I said anything good about him.) Doc |

Re: Vegas S&Gs
The Mirage runs single table satellites to the night events all day long on Sun-Thurs with buy-ins around $30-$60.
But I would not recommend looking for single table tourneys here in town. You will see 1/3 the number of hands for 3x the rake as on line... so what's the point? There are plenty of fun NL multis just about every night. If you go Downtown, the Nugget and Horseshoe run good tourneys with very weak players. If you want the whole skinny, PM me and i'll give you the scoop... I've lived here for a little while and have tried most of the action. Irieguy |

Re: Vegas S&Gs
Hi Irie,
Sounds like the rake in Vegas for SNGs is about the same as it is here (Tampa). I'm actually a bit surprised. Cris |
