Default driving from vegas to reno ?



Any one ever done it ?

how long does it take?

whats the best route?

any must stop at casino's along the way

probably the best way is reno to wendover(stop at rainbow casino there) then on down to vegas. I've never done it, so there may be a better way.


Reno to wendover can be kinda ugly in the winter..

I think that would add maybe 400 miles to the trip. I've never driven Reno to Las Vegas but I think you just take 95 up there. Check a map, and if you hit Wendover you went the wrong way.

i use to to do it all the time. its a lousy drive up rt. 95 all the way then hit route 80 at falon and cut over. its about 450 miles if i remember right and takes 7 hours. there are no good places to stop. except to fish at walker lake in the winter for trout.

if you want to take an extra day take the scenic trip thru death valley then over to 395 and up thru the sierras into reno

ain't that the "Hooker Highway", with a brothel about every thirty miles..no decent places to stop???gl lol,,

it was up 93 around caliente years back but up 95 there are ones all over, but in those out of the way places you are really fair game.
