Another Sprint Cell Phone Post (w/ pics)

So my phone is destroyed and I've got another year on my contract.

I want to switch services when the contract is up but that's another story for another time. I'm really just looking for something to hold me over til I switch to another service (most likely cingular).

Can I just buy another (used) phone off ebay and take it into the Sprint store and have them program it with my number? Also, anyone of the top of the head, what is the cost for this?
