Not to Worry.

PokerPulse reports that 780,000 copies of the book have been printed for worldwide distribution.

Amazon.com reports that it is #34 on the non-fiction list, just from pre-orders.

CNN.com reports that <font color="white">I am full of sh1t.

There should be a FAQ on the unique difficulties of expressing/perceiving sarcasm on these forums.

Perhaps we need a sarcasm graemlin.

No matter how outrageous and obvious you make something, someone here will take it seriously. And personally. (I'm sure that someone will take my suggestion about a sarcasm graemlin seriously and present a detailed argument about the difficulties of designing and implementing one.)

scalf,

780,000 copies at $25 each puts over $19 million in Ed's pocket. Couldn't you probably get an advance copy by sending in an extra million or two?

I'm voting - NO - on the sarcasm graemlin.

There are several problems with the idea of making a sarcasm gremlin. The first is that it would take away the excitement of discovering that what you are reading is sarcasm. And second, for people who can't figure out what is sarcastic, why would they figure out what the gremlin means? Come on man, think before you talk...
