Default Houston vs. Atlanta

I'm calling it now, this series is over.

Houston, you aren't getting out of the first round, again. You can just see how tight they're playing, and if they lose this game, I think it's going to be a crushing blow.

I like a lot of the Astros players, but man, the Braves just have their number in the playoffs.

I'm rooting for Atlanta and Minnesota. I'd like to see Clemens get touched for 6 runs in the first two innings and then get taken out by a come-backer to the forehead.

That would make me happy. Even though he plays for the 'Stros now, he will always be a Yankee in my book.

Astros up now 4-1. Inspired by my post, the bats came alive.

I'm replaying his final double-play ball/limp to first in my head constantly. It was unfortunate he couldn't manage to scrape out a hit in his last game. The crowd tried to will the ball out of the park on the long fly out he had, but to no avail.

Since Houston gave him such a big lead early on, Clemens will almost certainly be pulled after he pitches through the 5th. Can you say "Clemens starting Game 4"? Go 'Stros baby!!!

Truth be told, I hate the Braves, and made my post in frustration after watching the Berkman error/general flatness of the 'Stros in the first inning. If this reverse psychology of counting them out early helped in some cosmic karmic way, then so be it.

I've always liked Bagwell, and I want to see him win a series.

I have alterior motives for rooting for them as well...I think the Cards will crush them in the NLCS if they matchup there.

Today for certain the Astros were the better team. Winning game 1 is big. Winning game 2 will be bigger.

Go Astros.
