Default Re: Top two pair - two hands

Hand 1 - if he is a rock - then why call with AQs out of position ?
Why check-raise the flop ?
When the Ad falls, what hand do you put our rock-like friend on ?

I dont like the way you played this. Check/call is better than check/raise, then check/fold.

If I call pf, then I either lead the flop, or check/call the flop I think. If I check/call the flop then I also check call the turn. If I lead the flop, and get raised then I can fold, but if I get called, then I dont have a problem with either of lead turn (and fold to raise), then check/call non-diamond river - or check call turn, lead for half-pot on a non-diamond river.

I hate the check/minraise in hand 2 also but you might be ahead there.

Hand 1: marginal call from SB. I usually toss AQ-ish stuff unless he likes to steal.

Flop: Don't min-check-raise ! Either raise big, or just call.

Turn: don't check/fold. Check/call, then bet river.

what kind of flush can you put this guy on? The ace is out there, and rocks don't raise KJs.

Hand #2: Looks good.
