Default Best way to get a TV show to a friend?

Have a friend in U.S who wants me to send him a tv show that is on over here. I have a TV card and can record it to my HD no probs - what is the fastest way to get it to his pc?

My friends and I transfer big files over aol instant messenger, it gives you a direct connection but is still dependent on your connection speed.

Too many variables - depending on the file size and your respective internet connections it could be anything from email to airmailing a CD/DVD. If you both have broadband and you have (or can set up) a web or FTP server, that would be the normal approach for a big file.

We both have broadband but for for some reason my aim transfers only go at 4kb/s.

My torrent connection upload speed is ~ 15K but I am capable of downloading at 100K/s, so dont know why uploading is so slow

Upload speed is usually tuned down by your ISP. So it is totally independant from your download speed. I would find a torrent containing the program or mail it on a CD.

I usually use a program called Soulseek to do this. The speeds are almost always much faster than aim and you can download stuff off other people too. I think the website is soulseek.org, if not just google it.

Well I would use irc dcc send, it's good for big files too because you can always resume your files (ofcourse depending if you are under a firewall). But best ofcourse would be FTP.
