Does Party work on Linux boxes?

Every time I've looked, Party and friends are tied to Microsoft software.

I believe it might work under WINE - not sure...I know some poker sites do...

but it's easier for Party to just tell Linux heads about it and let them work on compatibility [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I actually tried once, because I figured it would be safe in a sandbox, and I wanted to see if games there were as loose as people say.

The installer failed. The game might run, but I can't install it to see.
