So where's the best Mexican food restaurant you've been to?

[/ QUOTE ]The best Mexican place, well, I was to young to remember any place I went to in San Diego. So, I'll have to say this place up here called Cactus. It's really [censored] good man, not sure if it is Tex-Mex or what, but it was good man.

edit: I go to Mexican restaurants all the time, but most of those are average to above average places. I am a big fan of burritos too. But to be honest with you, if someone said "lets go to this authentic Mexican place" I would most likely say "sounds good!"

La Parilla Suiza in Tucson. I heard that it is part of a chain based in Mexico City, but not sure. The best chicken fajitas I've ever had.

El Noa Noa and Tosh's Hacienda in Denver.

Boca Chica in St. Paul.

I'm going with Enchiladas y Mas in Austin. It used to be a real hole in the wall kinda place, but has since moved to a bigger, nicer location. I'm not sure if it's as good as it used to be, but everything's still really good. For some reason, the coffee's awesome there. It's just plain coffee, but somehow they brew it so it's really good.

Just had carne asada at a place called "la fuente" here in phoenix. Yummy. Its on 7th ave and camelback and shares a building with a dry cleaners. Very good food.
