Default Basic Profit/ROI/ITM spreadsheet from burningyen

http://home.earthlink.net/~burningye...ker-public.xls

I downloaded this from burningyen a while back (my computer doesn't seem to have the memory to run any of aleomagus's spreadsheets), and am finally getting around to using it. Can anyone explain what the SNG Profit tab is, or how it works? All I see is a big blue square.

It's a line chart plotting total profit vs. # of games. The blue square is the background and the line (surprisingly) is blue as well.

The toolbar says my line color is black. Do I have to input data or does it automatically compute from the SNG tab input? If I have to input data, how do I do that?

Why not just use the newest spreadsheet floating around here? It has a lot of handy features, like autoimport from PT and tons of stats.

My computer can't handle the Aleomagus spreadsheets, for some inexplicable reason. It takes forever to load/enter dats, or won't load at all (virtual memory low error message). I have no problems with my comptuer speed/memory in any other contexts.

If your computer is slow. You can go to Tools>Options>Calculation and set it to Manual. That way it won't try to calculate all the cells every time you change one thing. Once you've entered data, hit F9 (the manual recalculation button). You might want to try some of those new Soviet-made vacuum tubes too. That should speed things up.

It should plot the data you entered in the SNG tab. Hit F9?

Hood's SNG Tracker does everything that spreadsheet does automatically.

The spreadsheet should be turnkey for most users now, but Hood's program is also nice. It's probably the much better option for those a little low on computing power. I just couldn't get it to correctly calculate my hourly rate so I gave up on it and went to the Excel spreadsheet since that's a program I know well. I don't see rows, columns, and cells anymore. I just see blonde, blonde, redhead, brunette, PROFIT!
