Default my sng dilemma

(This isn't an actual hand. It's a made up situation because the same thing happens a lot.) I get dealt a premium hand such as AKs. I raise to 3x or 4x BB preflop. 2 or 3 call. Flop comes 4 8 Q, none of my suit. It's checked around to me. What's my move? What if it's 3 5 8? If I make a pot-sized bet, that would be roughly a third to a fourth of my stack (on PP) so if I get called or reraised I'm in big trouble. If I bet much less, people draw or take it as a sign of weakness and reraise me on later streets with nothing. How would I change my bet when I have an actual hand and don't want people to draw? If I bet big everytime I have a hand and small when I don't, people will pick up on it.

Against 3 others be happy to get a free card.

Against 2 others, it depends on the players.

Against one, almost always bet -- but not too much (or too little) - maybe a bit less than pot.
