A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

First time I watched Mr. Rogers with one of my kids, I thought, gee, this guy is a little strange, I don't know if I'd want my kids going over to his house. But then I watched a few times and realized the guy was a saint. Taught kids to respect their neighborhood, their neighbors, and themselves. Without talking down to them.

A special person. A world with Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden in it is bad enough; one without Fred Rogers is worse.
