Nevermind, I rewatched the video. Hurra Torpedo. It looks like they're a Swedish band or something, but I'll definitely have to try to check them out if they ever make it to the states.

The song is actually a cover... Air Supply did a version. I did a search and apparently it was originally by Bonnie Tyler.

EDIT: And the clip's about ten years old.

When did Air Supply do a version? I know of the Bonnie Tyler one, the Dan Band (in old school and starsky and hutch), and this one now. My parents loved that soft rock stuff, and I don't remember hearing Air Supply do this.

I know that the song is a cover, Bonnie Tyler did the original, yadda yadda yadda. Why do you say that the clip is 10 years old though? Granted, the footage isn't great quality and they're wearing these retro running suits, but a) I believe the clip was shot in Norway or Sweden, where tv quality seems to be lower anyway, I'm not sure why and b) I thought that the whole retro look was part of their gag.

I found this performance to be mediocre. There's nothing really innovative about hitting kitchen appliances when the group STOMP does that sort of thing but much more creatively and effectively. I'm surprised to be the only one responding negatively to the video clip, so what am I missing?
