Default Persistent pain - any idea?

I'm hoping some OOTiot out there has had something like this, as I've got no clue.

First, the problem. I'm having weird pains in my groin/upper leg area. It's not a very sharp pain. It's right about where the leg hits up with the body, and it's on the inside of both the right and left sides. I've had this pain very infrequently and very faintly since roughly last summer - every couple weeks or so, I'd feel something, but it wasn't bad at all. Last week, it got worse and has been a constant pain ever since. It gets worse at night.

The doctor doesn't know what it is yet, and I've had an ultrasound to check for a hernia, but it didn't show one. Movement doesn't effect it too much, but some motions can be slightly more painful than others (while standing, lifting my foot straight up too far. While driving, switching from the gas to the break pedals).

I'm going back to the doctor in a couple days. Does anybody have any idea what could cause this in an otherwise healthy 19 year old? I've had no recent injuries, though I do have two bad knees.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have any swelling in your legs?

No, nothing that I can tell. The doctor had a look at everything and said it seemed fine, too.
