I'm trying to play as much as I can this weekend, basically to concentrate on my pushing skills. I'm sorry for all the push or not posts, but this is really helping me. Thanks for all the help so far.

2. Some comments on this one: this was the first time I got to level 4 with so many players still there. I'm the second shortest stack, and by pushing I might get them fold or race and hope to get lucky. On the next hand I'll have less than 5BB, so why not push here? I actually checked and pushed when the flop came all rags, and MP1 called me w/ KJo.

1. Push. Unless you have a read that he is frustrated with you.

2. I like this play with one limper but not two. Its a fold.

1)I would make it 300 to go, then you can get away from it.

1) raise to 500 and fold to a reraise

1) Very read dependant but more often then not a fold. I don't like the raise to 500 thats 1/3 your stack.

2) Check hope you hit flop, I may push with a LP open limp or SB complete but not UTG+1 AND MP limping.

3) Fold this isn't really a pushing situation he isn't folding with 300 chips left you are calling his all in. You still have 1k push with any 2 if you are first to act on the next two hands.

Why risk all of his stack when he can raise less without getting committed? It's very easy to fold if reraised here, and usually the steal will succeed. It is also no disaster if the villain calls, as it would be if he were all-in.

How are you playing the flop when he calls?

Push on any flop?
Check Fold?
Push any flop with a Jack, 9, or a draw?

I don't like playing pots the size of my stack out of position with J-9. I think a pre-flop push is preferrable to any of those other options.

How is it so easy to fold when re-raised after opening with 1/3 of your stack? You are getting 2:1 to call (minimum) anytime this happens.

Because you want to survive in the tournament and have better equity stealing the blinds afterwards.

I like the third option. I'm not loving it, but I don't need to, since the opponents usually fold.
