Default 99 as an overpair against an aggressive bet out.

This bet out seemed to me like 2 pair protecting against the flush draw and possibly the straight draw as well.....

is this fold standard? i limped lookin for set value..

Actually I would raise here, possibly even all-in. The only hand I'm really worried about is 89, since I'm holding 2 of the 9's this is unlikely. If he indeed has 2 pair I still have outs, 4 8's 2 9's and 3 of whichever card he doesn't have on the flop. Alot of players will bet out w/A7-J7 or worse in this spot. Combined with the chance of him folding thinking you have the str8 , I just can't see folding this.

I would pop him back and bet t265 and see what he does. He could have 89, A7 or 55, 66, or 77. He might even have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Unless he has a set or 8,9 (maybe 3,4 but unlikely) you are probably still ahead with plenty of outs.
If he pops you back, you will have to decide what to do then (I would probably push). More than likely he will call, check the turn and you can see a free card if you want.

zero folds.

guy behind me calls

king on the turn

bet, then allin buy the guy behind me

original aggressor calls showing Ace 8 (open ended)
caller shows j7, river is an 8 (would have made me a straight) aggressor rivers an 8 for the win.

weak tight to a t i guess....
