Default RESULTS

He had JT [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
he called, we both hit a flush and I stacked him off.

Sure I felt all good and well about getting his money... but he took almost all of his time bank and I thought he was going to fold. Luckily he was an uber-fish. I think (actually I'm positive) that 99% of average-good players would insta-toss this hand after I push all in, and therefor I lose a lot of value if the flush does in fact hit.

Who knows.

Are you serious? 66 or 44 and your over a 2:1 dog. A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K Whatever and you are a 1.5:1 dog. This is NL and you are out to break this guy, not make marginal decisions with no information. And you have NO information because against a total maniac you only have info about his hand PREFLOP. This guy is horrible and to go all-in here is retarted. If you have the best hand, you WILL WIN LESS MONEY GOING ALL-IN because he will FOLD. If you call him he will keep spewing chips at you. If he is drawing, he will be charging himself. Furthermore, if he calls an all-in bet you will be over a 2:1 dog or at best even money. The best option is to let him bring his chips to your stack.

One more thing, if he is playing a flush draw then the all-in bet is even worse. If he folds you get nothing more. If he calls, all the chips would have been yours anyway. If he's playing a dead draw and willing to pay for it, take the money. Poker is about extracting maximum value from your marginal winners. This hand figures to pay off big two different ways, he bluffs off all his chips to you or you make your flush and he calls cause he is pot commited. Going all-in with this board and that opponent is leaving food on the table.

if it was a good lag, then not pushing is better line as you disguise your hand.

But lets say flush doesn't come and he pushes, do you call with your TPGK?
