That ump had quite a few bad calls.

He was gone by about 2 inches. You saw the dirt , which was covering crede's hands. The dirt made it look like his hand was closer than it really was.

Good call by umpire, and I'm pulling for Sox so don't give me any bias nonsense.

I think if Soscia realized the umpire called him out, he would have undoubtedly filed a protest before the next AB.

I agree, you could just see the ball jump sharply up as it
went into the glove, so it must have hit the dirt.
Only after about 4 different replays did I notice that.

regardless of whether or not the ball hit the dirt, the home plate ump signaled AJ out after the angels catcher was trotting off the field, which to me means he's out

the ump got confused, overwhelmed, and then didnt have the cajones to straighten it out

I totally unbiased as i don't care which team wins. That was a travesty.

Question I have is this. Shouldn't there be some signal by the ump so the catcher knows the ump has blown the call, then at least he can throw to first. Totally unfair the way that transpired.
