Storage Drive Question (Slightly OT)
I'm thinking about purchasing something like the following for storing PT databases, movies, etc.
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....PROD_ID=880021 Question is: can the stuff I put on here be accessed directly by applications? If I put a movie on the storage drive, can I play it off there, or do I have to copy it to my hard drive. Along the same lines, if I install a program to the storage drive, can I run it from there?

$100 for 200GB The only reason you'd want the one you're looking at is if you need to move large amounts of data between computers - like say move your PT database between work and home. And if that's the case you can buy cages that turn an internal drive into a portable USB drive and the total cost is still cheaper than buying a USB portable drive.
