YOu want to know the hight of Seattle football? Before last year it was when Tony Zendejas kicked a 60 yard field goal to knock them out of the first round of the playoffs in 86 (?). Years could be off a little, Houston became really good after that, the Seachickens went back to being the seachickens. They made such great picks as "The BOZ", and some QB named Miller. Frankly you would think they were breaking out when they hired Holmgren, but alas no. They assembled a nice stockpile of talent but they are still just SeaChickens.

I have to say that I was very surprised my Bills managed to show up. This game actually makes them look like the team I thought they would be from the start. Too bad they're still 5-6 and in the AFC.

Slavic,

The height of Seattle football is UW '91. The Seahawks are a long way from ever doing anything better than what the Huskies did.

I would argue that the height of Seattle football is UW 2004. (But then again, that's what you'd expect from a Coug, isn't it?)

Considering Clark is one of the Illini. I doubt he would consider Husky anything all that important.

Oh and Clark, can I just say the Illini got the best deal ever when they sent Johnny Mack to Texas. What did you get in the deal? A box of lightbulbs, and a bullpen catcher? You guys came out way on the plus side of that one.

I have a simple question. Seattle has the league's leading rusher in Shaun Alexander. They have arguably the best left side OL in football with Jones and Hutchinson. WHY do they continue to run over Chris Gray instead of Hutch or Jones? WHY DID THEY KICK A FG on 4 and 1 instead of running over Jones/Hutch? WHY CAN'T ANYONE ON THE TEAM CATCH THE [censored] FOOTBALL????????????

I think I just gave myself an aneurysm. At least the Sonics don't suck. Yet.
