Default Two Internet Connections (on the fly backup) Possible?

After this hand today (the last straw for me), I'm on a quest for reliability...

20/40 Shorthanded

Tag Caps Pre-Flop UTG while I have AA in big blind;

Flop is 6 high I check, he bets
Turn is 8, I donk, he Raises, I 3Bet, he caps

My connection dies while Im staring at the winning hand and 2 all in protections... they didn't kick in though, lost it UGH

Anyway, is there a reasonable inexpensive way to connect two broadband connections at the same time with the capacity to have them autoswitch if one goes down, or just load share in such a way that if one chokes up, the other picks up the slack?

I am positive that this sort of technology exists (been googling for a bit) but not sure if it works in such a way that the poker site would allow it... For example, if you are in a hand and your cable dies and you have a DSL "backup" sharing the load, could it keep the connection going? What I mean is, there would be two different IP addresses for the different providers, thus, I am wondering if it would be transparent to the poker site... I'd hate to invest in all of this to find out that its not going to work!

Thinking this "Nexland ISB Pro800 Turbo" may be part of the solution?

Any thoughts? I understand computers (I was a tech 4-5 years ago), but I'm terrible at networking!

Last month there was a small but good thread about someone trying to do this with a dual cable/DSL WAN router. link

You may want to PM the OP to see what the result of the purchase was.

It would be nice if there could be some kind of follow-up here, too.
