Default HELP- Upgrading Outlook and lost important info

I'm frigging dying here. I'm helping my uncle with his computer and we upgraded it with Windows XP over Windows 2000 which was on his computer before. When we started the computer under XP, the microsoft office programs no longer worked. There was a message something about "cannot find this program, it's not installed, yada yada." Fine. We then installed Office 2003. The only problem is, my uncle used the agenda program very extensively under Office 2000 and we cannot figure out at all how to get these agenda files to appear in Office 2003. The old Office files are all on the computer still, and the new Office was saved to a different folder (Office\OFFICE11 is the folder where the new Office 2003 was saved).

Is there any way to access the old agenda appointments with Outlook 2003?? My uncle is freaking out because his business relies on these appointments. Thanks.

Never mind, a 45 minute long distance call to Microsoft tech support from Europe (and their $35 charge) has solved it.
