Why did the ump just throw Gagne out?

He pointed to the dugout and made the signal, and Joe Morgan said that Gagne had been thrown out.

I wasn't paying that close attention.

Anyone know why?

He was in the dugout and apparently yelled something at the ump or made some kind of a gesture. Then the ump tossed him.

The bigger question is, "Why in the hell are you listening to a broadcast where Joe Morgan is talking?" He is a huge, huge douchebag who knows very little about what makes a good baseball player. This is ironic because he is probably the best 2B ever. I always mute him and listen to music.

gagne is on the 15-day DL, therefore not in the bullpen. he was arguing calls previous to the call and the ump got fed up. tossed.
