Re: What I Had
Bagels are Ok. Pancakes suck at most restaurants, but some specialty restaurants make great pancakes. For really awesome pancakes have homemade buckwheat pancakes with fresh huckleberries (the dark blue kind) sprinkled liberally throughout the dough and cooked to a perfect golden brown on a hot griddle. With warm maple syrup and lots of melted butter this is a real feast. If you never had these you just don’t know what you are missing.

Just a history note - when bagels first became a hot item, back in the 70's I think, VERY GAY. Not so much now but a bagel with spouts is still considered Gay by old farts like me, even though they taste good. -Zeno [/ QUOTE ] A bagel with sprouts is indeed gay. I also think its retarded. |

Well that sounds a lot better than that other pancake. I would eat that and like it.

Results, please. [/ QUOTE ] I went to get some food soon after your message. Bacon egg and cheese bagel edged out pancakes in the voting, so that's what I went with. It was great. The bagels at this place are from H&H. I went with the everything bagel. |
