Default Extracting the max from a set postflop at a 10+1

I put the MP1 on AQ, which may or may not have been correct, but I had no doubt my hand was good after that flop. How can I get him to throw more chips at me? The plan was check-call the flop and hope he hits something on the turn or river that he can bet for a check-raise. Obviously, nothing hit so I just bet the river not knowing what else to do.

Right now, if I had this one back, I'd check-raise the flop. I'm surely not going to get more chips out of him once I smooth call that flop bet. Anyway, can someone help me get half a clue?
