Default Ace high and Blinds

Party NL 10+1, 5 players left. I'm BB with T1000, SB has T700. Blinds are at 100/200. Folds around to SB who goes all-in. I feel pretty sure it's a steal attempt with nothing to back it up, so I call with A5. Smart/stupid/what would you have done?

If you had a really good read on the guy, that's one thing.

But read Sklansky's Gap Theory, two or three times. Its a great read, and I have done much better on not paying off people's dominating hands.

It has to be a good hand to go all in on, it has to be a MUCH better hand to CALL someone's all in. Especially when all you really wanted to do was steal the blind.
