I ususally do research the sites. The problem was, I was on some link (I was thinking through an OBG email link of some sort/I cannot find it now) that had a list of casinos (about 50 probably) that was supposedly backed by some people as being good ones and that if you did not recieve money, etc., you could talk to this group and they would help you get the money.

I can not, for the life of me, find this page anymore. It was something like OGB backed casinos or something similar but I have looked through OGB and, nothing.

almost all (if not completely ALL) the Microgaming casinos are covered by casinomeister and eCOGRA. these guys will definitely help you out in the event of non-payment of legitimate winnings. however, this is not your situation. yours is simply a misunderstanding of the T&C which led to the advertised bonus not being as good as you thought it was. the casinos (nor the watchdogs) aren't going to go out their way to help you figure out what is the best online gambling value for your dollar.

beaucracy is not what you seek, rather, a unbiased opinion from your peers is your best protection against legitimate ('you will get paid'), but "bad" (-EV) bonus deals. hence the incalculable value of the free BW casino forum archives.

I'm pretty sure you won't have to learn this lesson twice.
