its okay. I don't drink it too often. I like Red Bull and vodka. think I'll get one tonight at the casino.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is not good for your heart. But then again neither is getting [censored] faced.

.......so I've been told. something about mixing red bull which keeps you amped and hard liquor is not good huh? I wonder why that is too? I mean, I know liquor is not healthy but why is it SO much worse when you add red bull?

[/ QUOTE ]

its simply mixing uppers w/ downers. Alcohol is a downer, red bull is a stimulant (a rather pwerful one at that). Its like taking nyquil and speed, but not as extreme. bad for the nervous system.

redbull is my favorite nonalcoholic beverage (taste wise). i can only drink one or maybe two without alcohol though because i get serious jitters and anxiety.

with alcohol i'll drink 6 or 7 though if i'm going to be at a club for > 6 hours.

6 or 7 mixed w/ 6 or 7 drinks is a lot. I would assume this is when it becomes a more tangible danger to your health.

tolerance is a beautiful thing. plus, if i'm drinking them over the course of a night, each drink is metabolized before i have another (or pretty close to it). i never have more than ~3 in an hour cause it fucks me up. plus i always make sure to drink plenty of water, but not to the point of water toxicity.

but if you're out of shape, aren't used to caffeine and other stimulants, and go overboard, AND ignore your body, RB+Vodka can eff you up.

thoguh u may not feel bad, im sure this has a bad effect on your body, possibbly long term. I have a fairly high tollerance for alcohol, but it still pwns my liver when i get drunk.

Water toxicity? i swear you have to drink insane amounts of water for that to happen.

Tell that all those people who take E and overdose on water. When people die from E it's either heat stroke or water OD.

And I thought we were talking about instant problems. Obviously all that alcohol and caffeine has long term effects, but I don't think combining the two has any more long term effects than drinking them separately. Short term is where the real danger is and where you have to be careful.

that is not true. actually most E related deaths are from heat exaustion and dehydration .

as for short term effects of red bull and alcohol, i would think cardiac arrest is a realistic risk for unhealthy people or people w/ heart conditions.

I'm doing a dunken lagfest on party 2/4 bad beat if you want to come steal my money.

I know I'm not supposed to talk poker, but oh my word.

I already doubled my stack! 44.8 PT BB/hr. Grab me another beer

I just raised Q3 off out of position (if there is an in-position) and won with a river straight. Everyone is going to call me for a while.

Then I raised 66 and hit my set against 5 callers.

So basically the second one said that you can drink as much water as you want to when you're not one Ecstasy because you'll be able to piss it out... But not while you're on E because it releases some chemical that stops your kidneys from realizing they're full?
