Default Monitor issues....

Im not a huge hardware buff and was wondering what type resolution and sized monitor would be recommended for a poker workstation(4 tabling??) Specs or recommendations if at all possible.

I want to be able to 4 table VERY comnfortably and not be overlaping or having problems seeing the screens.

We clearly live in an instant gratification world. You only waited 12 minutes in the middle of the night to bump.

I wish my monitor was 1600*1200 instead of 1680*1050. Then again I can always 2 table, or have the chat boxes overlapping.

Any monitor that can handle a 1600x1200 resolution will be able to 4-table without overlap. There are plenty of very nice 19"+ CRT monitors that will do this for anywhere from $150-400. To get this resolution on an LCD you're going to be spending $500+ and, as so many people here will recommend, a Dell 2001FP is a great choice.

I had been using an old 19" CRT with no complaints, but I just got my 2001fp yesterday and I have to say it really is a beautiful display.

My 2001fp is arriving today. I can't wait! I've been 4 tabling on a 15 inch laptop.

I recommend the 2405FPW. I really like the widescreen display, and after playing on it for a week or so, I'm glad I dropped the extra $500 for the 2405.
