Steven,
There are three series of events currently run for 2+2 players. KotZ is King of the Zoo, and is a yearlong series of events run by eMarkM and -simon-. The events are different games each time about every 3 weeks. This thursday is the next KotZ event. I think it is O8B. Contact the people above or read on Internet Forum (Zoo). There is a minimum number of posts on 2+2 to qualify.

The second is a challenge tournament originally between Zoo and Small Stakes (SS) forums. In the latest event on TruePoker, the TournamentForum (Looney Touns) abbreviated Toons, also played and rather decisively won. Tournament Forum and 1 Table Tournament Forum, which have recently split, are one team for this series. This series is run by Mike Haven. I have not heard anything about future events.

The third is the SNG series that happens on Tuesdays (afternoon us time) and either Wednesdays or Thursdays (evening US time). I have not posted the welcome and info
message for a while so here it is.

Welcome to the 2+2 SNG gang.

There is no signup or registration.

You will see a notice on Tournament Forum (TF), 1 Table Tournament Forum (1TTF), and Internet Forum (Zoo), usually on Mondays. You are now also in the address book, so you will receive a notice on personal messaging (PM). Read it. Sometimes the days, times, or people starting the game change.

Sometimes there is a Saturday 13+1 game that is a satellite to the Sunday 200+15. Rules for that game if you win are: 1) Report from the Sunday game required, and 2) If you win it, everybody gets their satellite entry fee back. (Sunday win was $68000 this week, entry fees typically $14 each)

It helps if you pm me with your signon at Stars. That way we know who is who in the game. Not required if you wish to remain in hiding. Some do, and it is respected.

The person starting the game will sign on to the first available empty $10+1 18 player NLHE SNG on Stars after the specified start time. It may take a few minutes after the hour for a previous table to fill.

I log on as DrPhysic, Vinny as VinnyTheFish, Stoneii as Stone_Eyes, Tim as t_perkin_2+2. That's how you find the table.

After the game starts, I will post "DrPhysic 2+2" on the chat line. All invited to do so using either Stars login name or preferably 2+2 login name. We usually have one 18 player game in the afternoon Tuesday (US time, evening for the Euro gang), and 2 games Wednesday evening. I will also post the tournament number of the second game on the chat line so you can get in it or watch.

I recommend you be quick. We fill 36 seats in the Wednesday (or Thursday) evening game in 30 to 45 seconds.

During the game you may show cards if you wish. Play your own game. I highly recommend that you pay attention to poker. I find that difficult while ROFLMAO (rolling on floor laughing my ass off) at the chat line.

There is a report posted on 1TTF after the game. Your name may be used in vain if you either really blow it, or whip the old pros. This is a great opportunity for learners (like me) to get a chance to play with highly experienced poker players who are coming down from $50/$100/$200 games to play with the 2+2 gang.

See you at the game.

Doc

I don't really want to get involved with all that kind of organized stuff.

Dr. Physic,

Thank you. It was nice to get an answer without being called names and such.

Unless that pic is your grandfather, you somehow just don't look like a punk to me.

Hope we see you at the SNG games next week.
