Re: A few hands I need help on...
What happened to push every edge no matter how small (granted this should be changed to almost every at early levels of an SNG)?

Re: A few hands I need help on...
yeah i guess if u had a decent read on the blinds it might be worth to try and take the pot with an open raise preflop, if you were confident enough you could out-play them. but all that said i still wouldnt get involved when your only playing for 45 chips.

Re: A few hands I need help on...
In a 1K chip SNG, I'm leading out Hands 1 and 3 and taking it from there.
I think Hand 2 is fine (although against a LAG, I'd call this and then raise any non-heart turn.) |

Re: A few hands I need help on...
Hand 2 is a pretty easy check/fold, your hand is way to vulnerable.
Hand 3 I check/fold as well, you may not even have the best hand on the flop, the river's a long way away even if you do, and your reverse implied odds suck. Hand 1 I probably check/raise the flop. CO has sh*t, BB either flopped it or has a lone high diamond. (He's BB so the latter is far more likely) If either player comes along my stack is going in on a non-diamond turn. This is potentially way too aggro, as I really can't withstand a semibluff all-in by BB on the flop. Then again, I don't see many players doing this sort of thing. Plus I'm a psycho so I wouldn't be able to stop myself from potting it. DISCLAIMER: I play the blinds differently than most on this forum. If I lead I have either a complete monster or absolutely nothing, and the latter play is only necessary if people are paying attention. |

[ QUOTE ]
I like your play in the first two hands, although i would probably lead out on hand 3. Alternatively you could try a check raise here. [/ QUOTE ] Check raise on hand 3 ??? its a 4 handed flop, level 1, an UTG limper, anyone could have a set... I dont think this is a good time for a check raise. |
