You can always use Excel to track your rake back for free. For that, you will need to track the following.

starting time,
ending time,
hands played,
starting money,
ending money,
average players (you will need this to be accurate, so you need to note the time a player leaves and time a new one joins. Very important),

To make your calculation even more accurate, you should note
each pot size,
who won it,
rake taken out,
the exact time each pot was awarded to the winner.

And just in case you need to prove that they didn't pay you the correct amount, you really should take down the names of every player in each pot. Since the players on a table changes all the time, you should pay extra attention to this.

Everyone who's too cheap to pay for PT is using this method. This has worked wonders for those who put effort into it. This might sound like a lot, but it's actually really easy once you practice it for a few months.
