Default Dell 6000 wireless problems

Have Linksys wireless network. My old e-machine worked great-few disconnects. It, of course, had the Linksys Notebook card. My new Dell 6000 gets disconnected a lot-6 to 8 times an hour on Stars and Party. I put the Linksys Notebook card in the Dell and works great but since I have given my wife the e-machine, I can't use it all of the time. Anybody else have disconnect problems with internal wireless card that comes with the Dell 6000? It is the upgraded card-A, B, G. Any suggestions on how to make the internal card work better?

Default Re: Dell 6000 wireless problems

Im currently having this problem w/ my new 9300. Dell has had me switch from windows software to intel and back etc. Sometimes it helps for a little bit but the problem remains. I think i will try reverting to an older driver version. Also check the power use settings on your wiresless card...maybe it is set to use the lowest amount of power.
