Hi! I went to the Seminole Casino locate on US 401 during Thanksgiving just to see how these Indians are fairing...

Got into a 7 player stud game - 25c ante then 50c and $1 for max pot of $9...

Some players couldn't even play at this level.
Nonetheless, I don't think this game is beatable.
Interior was dark and grungy. Cannot compare to Foxwoods or AC.

The thing is I'm sure one day its gonna get better... If it does then I'll think about retirement there. Otherwise, playing with grannies who are shaking to lose their last quarters on an openend straight will be just too pathetic!

I was wondering the same thing. All of my posts about poker in South Florida seen to be ignored. I have a group of guys in West Palm Beach that would be interested in traveling to find a game in Ft Lauderdale or Miami. The boats seem to be our only option at the moment.

I think you meant US41, not US401. Also known as the Tamiami Trail.

Mason:

Actually I got the road wrong as well. Its located on US441 or Fla7 and it is called Seminole Indian Reservation. It was easy to reach from Fort Lauderdale.
Just head directly west on Stirling Road (South of the Fort Lauderdale International Airport).

There is also one on the Tamiami Trail. I didn't reach that one. Maybe some Floridians can give a run down 'coz I'm not a local.

I live in boca and would be interested in playing in a home game, anything up to 15-30. Please let me know if you have something. The Indian casino's here are terrible.

You're right. Miami features a US41 and a US441. By the way, I grew up almost in walking distance from US41.

Best wishes,
Mason

If you would like to get in on our game email me at
Jmardam@bellsouth.net

We play in south Lake Worth usually but we have been known to play in Boyton. The stakes are not 15-30 but somewhere around 5-10, often it is dealers choice.
