I think stopping K-mart from selling ammo would be similar to not giving a drunk a bottle, even though there are 12 step programs they could attend.

No, he just doesn't think they should be REALLY easy to get (like free when you open an account at a bank).

So everybody who goes to Kmart to buy ammo is an irresponsible addict?

Man. You are pretty wound up. lol. You comments seem a little out of whack for a simple poke at the guy.

You aren't dating him are you?

No, but to drive a car you have to get a license by demonstrating some driving skill. To cut hair you have to get a license from a State Agency. To do almost anything, you have to pass a test, or seek approval.

Get a gun? Answer five questions, and they aren't real good at making sure you didn't lie.

I'm not comfortable with depending on K-Mart to make the determination on if I am a nut or not.

I think you're stretching pretty far to defend him when it's clear he's against guns, and his film portrays him bullying and harrassing pro-gun elements like the evil KMart sporting goods section and an 80 year old man who speaks out in favor of gun ownership

Whereas the actual villians referenced in the title are hardly focused on.

It's clear the film is anti gun. No need to apologize for MOore if you are a fan, just I find it odd that you are.

" He pointed to countries with similar demographics and showed dissimilar gun violence statistics."

Ya and did you ever consider the statistical propagnada? Do you consider the ratios relative to population? Try multiplying the number he gave you for the Canadian population by 10, for example. Maybe unliscensed bodyguards are apart of this 'american gun problem'.

You mean that guy I shot who pulled up in front of my house in a brown van and walked to my front door with a package under his arm wasn't a bomb carrying terrorist?
